I  became an avid photographer at the age of 10 after receiving a Polaroid camera as a birthday gift. My equipment has improved since then but my passion remains the same. I studied journalism at Kansas State University in Manhattan and have contributed to several regional newspapers and online ezines.

 

But those aren't the things you're interested in knowing, are they?

 

I've traveled to many haunted Kansas destinations because I have a fascination for the unexplained. It has intrigued me for as long as I can remember. From the Stull Cemetary in Lecomption to the Eldridge Hotel in Lawrence, I've had unexplained encounters with the supernatural. A particularly hair raising experience in Winfield led me to some interesting local legends like Monkey's Demon.

 

I've been following the activities in a small town just south of Winfield close to the Oklahoma border. In a wooded area of twisted trees located close to the Arkansas River, I've begun investigating the strange happenings southeast of Arkansas City. The locals call it Spooky Hollow.
